Park Joo Hyung cast in upcoming KBS drama “The King’s Face”

On October 20th, JYP Entertainment announced on Twitter that Park Joo Hyung has been cast in the upcoming KBS drama The King’s Face

The veteran actor, who has played roles in dramas such as Wonderful Days and Gu Family Book, will be playing the role of Prince Im Hae in the historical drama.

The drama is said to be about a complicated tragic love story between a dad, his son Gwang Hae, and a woman, played by Lee Sung Jae, Seo In Guk and Jo Yoon Hee respectively. With such a talented cast, the drama is sure to be a hit!

The King’s Face is set to begin airing on Wednesday and Thursday nights in mid-November, taking the place of Iron Man.

JYP Entertainment and its artists have been quite busy lately, despite its reputation among netizens as being the least active among South Korea’s “Top 3” entertainment companies. Within the past month, JYP Entertainment has debuted a new singer, announced a comeback for one of their veteran groups, and began a world tour for one of their flagship groups. Now, one of their veteran actors has been cast for an upcoming high-profile weekly drama.
