Red Velvet celebrates their 1st anniversary since debuting with “Happiness” last year

Time certainly flies by! A year has already come and go for girl group Red Velvet as they celebrate their 1st debut anniversary, greeting their fans in a video.

Released on August 1st, the five members stand together against a wall with huge smiles on their faces as they announce they have reached their first birthday as a group.

They express their thankfulness towards their fans who have been supporting them throughout all this time, and updated viewers on their recent individual activities.

Irene is currently active as an MC for the KBS music show Music Bank, while Yeri is also working as an MC on MBC Music Core. On the other hand, Joy has been active as a virtual married woman on We Got Married with BTOB‘s Sungjae as her husband.

On the other hand, Wendy and Seulgi continues to practice regularly, exercise, and monitoring the other members through their broadcasts.

Red Velvet made their debut as a four-member girl group in August 2014, the first (girl group) out of SM Entertainment since f(x). They had their first broadcast music show performance on August 1, 2014 via Music Bank with their debut digital single Happiness released three days later on the 4th. It wasn’t until March 2015 that fifth member Yeri was added, joining and making her debut with the mini-album Ice Cream Cake.
