1. BTS x Big Hit Entertainment

BTS and Big Hit Entertainment donated ₩100,000,000 KRW ($93 000 USD) to Sewol Ferry victim’s family.

 

2. Girls’ Generation’s Yoona

Yoona has been making donations to low-income families since 2010, and she was recently invited to join the Honor Society (a society of individuals who donated more than ₩100,000,000 KRW [$93 000 USD]).

 

3. IU

Last year, IU paid the full college tuition of 4 students who were struggling financially. She has also continuously donated to various institutions, including the high school from which she graduated.

 

4. EXO’s Kai

Kai appeared on the cover of a magazine called “Big Issue”, which donates half of its revenue to homeless people in Korea. With the help of Kai’s fans, the magazine was sold out in two days, which provided immense support to the homeless.

Junhyung donated ₩10,160,000 KRW ($9 450 USD) to Korea Food for the Hungry International on October 16, the day they released their new album Celebrate. Junhyung has been making a donation to this institution ever since 2012.
