1. Seungri

Seungri began as a member of BIGBANG and expanded his career into other businesses including his successful Japanese ramen restaurant chain Aori Ramen, private bar Monkey Museum, and club Burning Sun.

As a result, he has become a massive CEO who is expecting to earn approximately $25 million USD this year.

 

2. Yoona

Yoona began acting before she debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation. She has since made a successful debut in a Chinese drama called God of War, Zhao Yun and is rumored to have made about $50,000 USD per episode.

The historical drama consists of 60 episodes so if rumors were true, she would have made a total of $3 million USD from the drama alone.

 

3. IU

IU is a singer/actress who is nicknamed “walking corporation”. One fan calculated a rough estimate of how much she made as a singer with album sales, streaming and music downloads and came up with the figure $6 million USD.

Suzy began as a member of miss A and gained more fame after she appeared in the movie Architecture 101.

She participated in a total of 22 advertisements in the 14 months after the movie was released. Experts have said that “Suzy’s income from the advertisements she did in 2013 alone probably adds up to about $10 million USD”. Suzy, who is only still only 23 years old certainly has a bright future ahead of her.

 

5. Dok2

Dok2 is living a life of luxury with the money he made on his music alone. He currently lives in a huge hotel penthouse.

The penthouse costs about $6,500 USD for a one-day stay and people have been guessing that renting the place would cost approximately $200,000 USD per month. Dok2 said that “living in a hotel is cheaper because you don’t have to pay for heating, electricity. and utilities”, and while we don’t know exactly what apartments he’s been trying to rent, we’re pretty sure that’s not true.

 

6. Jiyoung

Jiyoung debuted as a member of KARA when she was only 14 years old. By 2011, KARA earned a profit of approximately $73 million USD in the year alone through their popularity in Japan.

However, Jiyoung left KARA in 2014 and is now pursuing acting in Japan.

 

7. Hyeri

Hyeri made her debut as a member of Girl’s Day in 2010. She revealed on a broadcast that she earned “about $1 million USD through advertisements in 2014.”

She appeared in the hit drama Reply 1988 soon after, which added to her increasing popularity.
