Every Korean entertainment company has made some mistakes when it comes to auditions. JYP Entertainment is known for its rejection of many famous K-Pop idols. There’s also plenty of artists that SM Entertainment has rejected in the past. Now, let’s look at some of the celebrities YG Entertainment has rejected in the past.

1. Chungha

Chungha is known for her incredible talents, as she’s both a great singer and dancer. Yang Hyun Suk has revealed in the past that he now regrets rejecting her.

2. Wendy (Red Velvet)

Wendy is another idol that Yang Hyun Suk has revealed that he regrets letting go of. Everything ended up working out, as Wendy soon was cast by SM Entertainment, which is where she debuted as a member of Red Velvet.

3. Park Bom (2NE1)

While Park Bom might have made her debut in YG Entertainment, it took her multiple auditions to get accepted into the company. She auditioned for the company three times before she was finally accepted.

4. Crush

Crush is currently one of the most popular solo artists in South Korea but wasn’t as appealing during his audition for YG Entertainment. Yang Hyun Suk has revealed in the past that he regrets missing on him.

5. Bewhy

Bewhy is quite the fanboy of G-Dragon, as he chose to audition for YG Entertainment just because of him. Things didn’t end up working out, as Bewhy got rejected. This wasn’t too bad, as Bewhy would perform together with G-Dragon many years later.

6. Rain

While Rain might have started his rise to stardom at JYP Entertainment, he did audition for YG Entertainment. He ended up getting rejected, which Yang Hyun Suk still regrets over a decade later.

7. T.O.P (BIGBANG)

When T.O.P auditioned for YG Entertainment, they were amazed by his rapping talents but chose to reject him because of his weight. T.O.P then spent the next couple of weeks diligently losing weight and soon got accepted to the company.

8. Hyunseung (Formerly of BEAST)

Hyunseung was originally supposed to debut as a member of BIGBANG but was dropped before their debut. This wasn’t too bad, as Hyunseung would later debut as a member of BEAST.
