A BTS Guide To Looking Damn Fine All The Time

Fashion tips and life advice that’s straight out of BTS’s closets.

If you need some fashion inspiration, you’ve come to the right place. BTS‘s members are pros at looking damn fine all the time, and there’s much we can learn from their style choices.

1. Be a 10 in a world of 8s

When it comes to fashion, confidence is key. Who better to take notes from than the king of confidence himself, Worldwide Handsome Jin?

Jin likes to say that his face is his best accessory, so don’t skimp on skincare. Moisturize, exfoliate, apply sunscreen, and experiment with makeup if you’re feeling it.

Heck, you don’t even need makeup. Love yourself, love the skin you’re in, and go boldly into the world like the 10 you are.

2. Attitude is everything

Like Jin, Suga embraces who he is, and he doesn’t give an AGUST D what anybody else thinks. His casual looks are low-key, but this use of layering and accessories gives him that telltale celebrity vibe.

If you’re not the flashy type, a well-cut jacket and turtleneck like Suga’s might be the outfit for you. This look is the epitome of function meets fashion.

3. Be bold and bright

“Bold and bright” sums up J-Hope‘s personality and his fashion. J-Hope mixes and matches colors, patterns, and styles in a way that’s eye-catching and memorable.

P.S. Did you see his bag? It’s hella trophies and it’s hella thick.

4. Emphasize your best features

RM dresses casually when he’s “Namjooning” at an art gallery, but even his most casual looks emphasize his best features.

All of RM’s features are the best, but for the sake of staying focused and not dissolving into a puddle of fangirl goo, let’s just pick one: his height.

RM is 90% legs, so he (and his stylists) wisely choose clothes that work with rather than against his figure.

5. Bring on the duality

One of the best things about fashion is its ability to turn people into chameleons. Like Jimin, you can be cute one minute…

…and lethal the next.

Some people love to have a signature style, and that’s awesome, but just remember that you define your fashion, not the other way around. Feel free to switch things up if you’re in need of a change.

6. DIY your life

If you’re dying to redo your wardrobe, but you’re short on cash, why not DIY the clothing you already own? has created some of his own looks that are as unique as he is.

All you need is fabric paint, scissors, and a little creativity…

…or, you know, a lot.

7. Crush the competition

Jungkook‘s closet is a sea of black T-shirts and jeans, but his casual looks go from basic to badass as soon as he laces up these stompers.

Most of us can’t afford to stock up on PRADA shoes, but if you can find a cheap pair of planet crushers online, go for it!
