5 Idol Friend Groups That Span Across Multiple Groups

These friendships are so cute.

These idols became best friends despite being in different groups. Their friendships warm our hearts.

1. ’97 Line

The famous ’97 line consists of SEVENTEEN’s DKThe8 and Mingyu. BTS’s Jungkook, NCT’s Jaehyun, GOT7’s Yugyeom and BamBam and Astro’s Cha Eunwoo. They have a group chat where they all talk and they always support each other in each other’s promotions.

2. ’92 Line

The ’92 line also has a group chat. There are no group pictures but the members assure us they are all great friends and they have interacted in the past. The group consists of MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul, VIXX’s Ken, EXID’s Hani, BTS’s Jin and B1A4’s Sandeul. Hani once called Moonbyul on a radio show to hilarious effect.

3. Taemin Squad

Taemin and his group of friends designed their own jackets and hang out all the time. The ‘Taemin Squad’ consists of SHINEE’s Taemin (obviously), EXO’s Kai, BTS’s JiminHa Sungwoon (formerly of Wanna One), HOTSHOT’s Timoteo and Kwonho, who isn’t a celebrity.

4. Thai Idols

A group chat exists for this generation of Thai idols. It includes CLC’s Sorn, (G)I-DLE’s Minnie, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, NCT’s Ten and GOT7’s BamBam. 2PM’s Nickhun is also rumoured to be in this chat.

5. Shy ’91 Line

Some of K-Pop’s ’91 liners are also all known to be great friends. Coincidentally, they are also all known to be quite shy which is maybe why they became friends in the first place. The group is made up of Apink’s Chorong, BTOB’s ChangsubHoya (former INFINITE), Jinyoung (former B1A4) and Mamamoo’s Solar.
