Here Are 10+ Korean Music Artists Who Were At 88rising’s “Head In The Clouds 2021” Festival That You Need To Know

Some performed while others were there to support their friends!

Over the weekend, 88rising held their Head In The Clouds 2021 (HITC) music festival at Brookside at the Rose Bowl, Pasadena, California. Some of our favorite music artists were headliners, such as JojiRich Brian, Saweetie, and many more.

With so many great musicians headlining, it’s only natural some of their friends, including many other talented friends, would attend to show love and support. So, here are 10+ Korean artists you may or may not have known were there, both performing and some in attendance…

1. DAY6’s Jae (eaJ)

Jae returned to his home state for his first live performance in two years as he was a performer at the event! Not only that, but we got lots of long-awaited interactions with him and his friends, such as DPR LIVE, keshi, and more.

MyDays (fans of DAY6) couldn’t be happier seeing Jae perform again!

2. Kevin Woo

The former U-Kiss member is a good friend to Jae (they did both host Afer School Club, after all), and he also lives in the area now. So, of course, he wouldn’t miss it!

3. Eric Nam

The former After School Club hosts reunited, and it feels so good! The solo artist and entrepreneur has been very busy lately, but he still made time to see his friends at the festival.

Also, let’s talk about how Kevin gave the trio a cute nickname. We stan #KAERIC!

4. CL

The former 2NE1 member, the queen herself CL spiced up the festival, and we’re so glad she did. We can never get enough as her stage presence is unlike any other.

Also, can we talk about her and DPR IAN? Because they’re hella cute

5. BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Lisa

Believe it or not, but the Jennie Kim was there too! While we love seeing her perform, it’s so nice seeing herself just enjoy herself as a fan of other artists too.

She’s not the only BLACKPINK member who hung out with friends at the festival. LISA reunited with her friend NIKI!

6. Seori

Singer-songwriter Seori’s voice is so enchanting! We’re in awe every time we listen to her.

7. Audrey Nuna

Korean American R&B singer and rapper Audrey Nuna performed some of her hits, such as “Cool Kids” and “damn Right.”

8. DPR LIVE & DPR IAN

You know you’re in for a good time when some of the DPR gang is there! They performed tons of our favorite songs, so, of course, we can’t pick a favorite, sorry.

9. Feel Ghood Music

Feel Ghood Music record label includes founders Tiger JK and his wife Yoon Mi Rae, singer-songwriter BIBI, and rapper Bizzy. Their set was beyond iconic, as was to be expected, and BIBI truly stole the show!

10. Lil Cherry & GOLDBUUDA

You know they came to eat, and fans got hyped to “MUKKBANG!”

11. Luna Li

If you’re not familiar with her yet, Luna Li is a very multitalented artist from Toronto, and she is half Korean.

12. REI AMI

Imagine being a CL stan and getting to perform at the same festival as her; REI AMI can relate!

It’s so well-deserved, too, because she is so talented in her own right.

Honorable mentions:

13. Joey Tuan

While we hoped to see GOT7‘s Mark Tuan at the festival as BIBI was headlining and the two have a song together (plus he now lives in California, so…). Still, we at least got to see his brother Joey!

However, they did play BIBI and Mark’s song “Never Gonna Come Down” from Marvel‘s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings soundtrack produced by 88rising.

14. GOT7’s Jackson Wang

Similarly, we got to hear Jackson Wang’s “100 Ways” even if he wasn’t there to perform it. But can you imagine if Jackson had been there? It would have been too good.

15. MAMAMOO’s Hwasa

DPR LIVE gave a shoutout to her while he performed “Hula Hoops,” their collaboration song with BEENZINO.
