Although many are formed with a specific concept in mind when it comes to K-Pop groups, others consider the relationship between members and the target audience. Many fans like to see the biggest gaps between members, but some groups have much smaller differences between the oldest and youngest members.

Here are 12 groups with the smallest age gaps between the youngest and oldest members.

12. Aespa

As well as being one of the smallest groups in size, in terms of SM Entertainment groups, they also have one of the smallest age gaps. Leader and oldest member Karina is 21 years old and was born on April 11, 2000, and youngest member Ningning was born on October 23, 2002. It means there is a gap of two years and six months.

11. ATEEZ

Debuting in 2018, ATEEZ quickly gained attention for the members’ intense talent and crazy stage performance skills. They are also known for their close friendship with each other, with all the members being similar in age. The oldest member Seonghwa is 22 and was born on April 3, 1998. Maknae Jongho was born on October 12, 2000, making him 21 years old. The age gap between the two members is two years and six months.

10. NCT Dream

The youngest subunit of NCT unsurprisingly has a smaller age difference compared to the rest of the group. Mark is the oldest member and was born on August 2, 1999, which makes him 22 years old. The youngest member is Jisung and was born on February 5, 2002, and is 19. The gap between the oldest and youngest is also two years and six months.

Debuting in 2012, NU’EST is definitely an underrated group in K-Pop. Aron is the oldest member of the group and was born on May 21, 1993, and the youngest member is Ren, who was born on November 3, 1995. Between the two members, there is a gap of only two years and five months.

Debuting in 2011, BLOCK B is known for their cool and edgy concepts, which all idols love to cover. The oldest member of the group is Taeil, born on September 24, 1990, making him 31 years old. The youngest member is P.O, who was born on February 2, 1993. There are two years and four months between them.

YG Entertainment group BLACKPINK might be one of the biggest girl groups globally, and the friendship between the members might be a huge reason. Jisoo is the oldest member and was born on January 3, 1995, while maknae Lisa was born two years and two months later on March 27, 1997.

Ironically, the oldest and youngest member of iconic boy group 2PM only has two years between the oldest and youngest member. Leader and oldest member Jun. K was born on January 15, 1988, and maknae Chansung was born on February 11, 1990. Although it isn’t exactly two years, it seems more appropriate and is four days within the bracket!

JUST B is one of the newest groups on the list and, after debuting earlier in the year, is slowly gaining attention for their music. Girl group 3YE has gained attention for the members’ powerful stage presence and crazy charisma. They are also very close in age, and it shows in their bonds with each other. The oldest member Yurim was born on April 13, 1998, making her 22 years old, while Haeun is the youngest and was born ten months later on March 12, 1999.

Although not as well known as other groups on the list, vocal group Voisper has one of the smallest age gaps between the members. Unlike all of the other groups, every member was born in 1996, which is almost unheard of in K-Pop. The oldest member is Kwangho, born on June 2, and the youngest member Choong Gi was born on December 17. Between the two members, there is only six months difference.
