Oh Sung Moo (Kim Eui Sung), the father of heart surgeon Oh Yeon Joo (Han Hyo Joo), mysteriously goes missing while writing the last chapter of his webtoon titled W. Yeon Joo goes to his office to look for him, but a hand suddenly shoots out from his monitor. She finds herself on a rooftop next to a bloody man and saves him. However, she soon realizes that he is Kang Cheol (Lee Jong Suk), the main character of her father’s webtoon. She later discovers that she can only enter or leave the webtoon depending on Kang Cheol’s feelings.
