Yoon Eun Hye finally relays her apologies for September plagiarism scandal

After months since the plagiarism scandal hit the news and Yoon Eun Hye was criticized for passing another fashion designer’s work as her own, the actress took the chance to finally give a short apology to the public at a recent event.

On December 11th, Yoon Eun Hye returned to Korea to attend a fashion brand’s opening event in Seoul. Greeting over 50 reporters at the site, she gave a 90-degree bow and said, “Thank you for coming and I apologize for causing a controversy. I will continue to work hard and not disappoint.”

Following the end of the event, TV Report spoke to officials over the phone who said, “Prior to the event, Yoon Eun Hye was very nervous. It’s the first public event she’s been in since the controversy so she was adamant that there be time for her to make an apology.” when asked about whether she will be embarking in new activities in the future, they replied, “There is currently no activities planned.”

In September, a fashion designer spoke up regarding Yoon Eun Hye’s fashion pieces she presented while taking part of the Chinese show Goddess’ Fashion. Responding to the plagiarism accusation, Yoon Eun Hye released a statement that the fashion designer was simply using her name to get his few minutes of fame and never properly apologized for the scandal.
