While the group did not win “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” at the 63rd GRAMMY Awards held March 14, 2021, ARMYs remain “incredibly proud” and marking the day as “historic regardless” — as they patiently await the performance to take place during the main event of the 2021 GRAMMYs.

As first-time nominees at the GRAMMYs for their chart-topping single “Dynamite,” BTS did previously say in an interview with USA TODAY‘s Social Media Editor Fatima-Tul Farha that the nomination felt surreal and that “[they]’re trying [their] best to deliver a great performance to return all the support [they] received from [their] fans.

The Best Pop Duo/Group Performance has been awarded to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande for “Rain on Me.”
