BIGBANG’s T.O.P may enlist in the army as early as next year

T.O.P‘s military enlistment is nearing soon as reports of the BIGBANG member revealed he recently has applied at city hall.

On October 25th, T.O.P took the compulsory police examination at 9am KST, applying for a military specialist at the Seoul city hall. His name can additionally be seen on the Compulsory Police website’s list of applicants under his birth name Choi Seung Hyun.

Should he pass his police examination, the rapper-actor may enlist as soon as early next year. Results to the exams will be posted on November 11th on the webpage.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG is expected to release a new group album before the year’s end. With the news of T.O.P’s impending military enlistment, it is most likely that it will be the group’s last album together until all of BIGBANG has completed their mandatory military service.

Other idols currently serving under the compulsory police are Super Junior‘s Siwon and Donghae.
