On the 18th of August 2020, the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation revealed that the generous king had donated in order to help those that faced financial downturns and disadvantages due to the changes brought about by the coronavirus pandemic.

J-Hope has become a part of their Green Noble Club, for those that are high-level donors. There are only 146 members in the club, and he became a member in 2018 due to his constant donations.

This time, J-Hope explained to the foundation himself that he hopes the money will go to the children in need due to the coronavirus, which was his reason for donation.

Amongst the disadvantaged children that are victims of the various societal problems, I hope that these funds will be well-delivered to those that are facing financial difficulties due to the coronavirus.

Perhaps this is due to the fact that BTS, and J-Hope themselves, are facing the emotional strain of the pandemic, as stated in their ending ments for their online live stream concert previously. As performers, the boys yearn for the stage and to see their fans face-to-face again, but the pandemic has placed restrictions on the entire world.

The chairman of the foundation personally gave a shout-out to the BTS member, thanking him for his contributions. In other news BTS will soon be dropping their new single, “Dynamite”. Stay tuned!
