BTS’s Jimin Sets A Historic New Record On Spotify With “Filter”

Jimin just made history again!

BTS‘s Jimin is certainly no stranger to making history and through his solo track “Filter”, he’s made history once again!

On July 4, just 134 days after its release, Jimin’s “Filter” broke through 60 million streams on the music streaming site Spotify becoming his fourth solo song to do so after “Lie”, “Intro: Serendipity”, and “Serendipity (Full Length Edition)” reached the milestone.

With “Filter” joining the other tracks, Jimin officially became the first and only Korean soloist to have 4 songs surpass 60 million Spotify streams!

This certainly isn’t the first major record Jimin and “Filter” have set. When it first released, it quickly entered the Billboard Hot 100, snagged a triple crown on US Billboard, UK Original, and Canada Billboard charts, and set a record for biggest first-day debut for a Korean solo on Spotify!

Additionally, it became the most-streamed Korean solo song on YouTube Music. All of that without promotion or an MV!

And now he’s got one more record to amazing list! Congratulations Jimin!
