BTS shares a video of themselves reacting to the announcement.

BTS is nominated for a GRAMMY award, and they couldn’t be more excited about it!

On November 24, GRAMMY.com announced the 2021 list of nominees. “Dynamite” is nominated for “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” alongside “Un Dia (One Day)” by J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, and Tainy, “Intentions” by Justin Bieber (feat. Quavo), “Rain On Me” by Lady Gaga with Ariana Grande, and “Exile” by Taylor Swift (feat. Bon Iver).

On Twitter, VJungkookRM, and Jimin shared two clips of themselves watching the nomination announcements via a live stream. When “Dynamite” was called, they jumped off the couch, clapped wildly, and shouted, “BTS!”.

Even their tweet caption couldn’t contain its excitement!

BTS followed up this tweet with a heartfelt thank you to ARMY for making their dream a reality.  “We thank everyone for listening to our music and sympathizing with it during such a difficult time,” they wrote. “More importantly, it’s our ARMY who created the miracle of making us GRAMMY-nominated artists. Thank you always, and we love you. Thank you @RecordingAcad for this great honor!”

Half an hour later, BTS shared another video of their reaction filmed in black and white. “A different angle,” the caption says.

Congratulations, BTS!
