BTS Break Their Own Record As They And TXT Rank In Top 10 Of Billboard Charts

They’re both legends!

BTS and their fellow labelmates are all ranking high in the Billboard charts.

The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber‘s “Stay” is staying on top of the Billboard charts, including Hot 100 and both Global charts. It’s officially Justin Bieber’s longest leading hit as an artist. This is specifically its fifth week at No. 1 for Hot 100.

According to MRC Data, for the United States, the radio airplay for “Stay” was up by a lot (23%), and it ultimately drew 63.4 million audience impressions. But streams were down 3%, with 31.7 million U.S. streams. Similarly, downloads were down 4%, with 13,700 downloads sold for the week ending Aug. 26.

As for our “song of the summer,” BTS’s “Butter” actually went from No. 8 to No. 7 again on the Hot 100 chart in its 14 consecutive weeks in the top 10. It has officially surpassed a previous record held by another BTS hit, “Dynamite,” and is now the longest-running top 10 hit by a Korean act in Hot 100 history.

“Butter” is again leading Digital Song Sales for the 13th week with 68,800 sold. Its sales as up 25%, “sparking the chart’s top Sales Gainer award.”

BTS’s “Permission to Dance” is also ranked in the top 5 of this week’s top-selling songs at No. 5, while “Butter” is No. 1.

Additionally, both “Permission to Dance” and “Butter” have ranked on The Global Excluding U.S. chart’s top 10 at No. 8 and No. 9, respectively.

While BTS dominates digital song sales, TXT is killing it by becoming one of the week’s top-selling albums. Billboard reported that The Chaos Chapter: Freeze re-entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 8.  It is this week’s second top-selling album, behind Olivia Rodrigo‘s album Sour.

MOAs are incredibly proud of TXT’s accomplishments! The members have all worked hard on an amazing album, so this is a well-deserved achievement.

Likewise, ARMY are excited to see “Butter” continuing to chart high on the music charts. Not to mention, it is back at our lucky number 7 on the Hot 100 chart again!

We’re all expecting to see BTS and Megan Thee Stallion‘s remix of “Butter” to be dominating the charts this next week! It’ll be the perfect birthday gift for RM and Jungkook.
