If ENHYPEN’s Sunoo Could Redo His Teenage Years, He’d Change One Thing About It

“Now that it’s all over, I think I would’ve liked…”

As a 2003-liner, ENHYPEN‘s Sunoo recently welcomed the end of his teenage years.

Sunoo

In an interview with Weverse Magazine, he was asked what it felt like to look back on his adolescence years as someone who was both an idol and a student.

How do you feel looking back on your teen years? You were living two lives: that of a student, and the busy schedule of an idol after his debut.

Sunoo explained that he was extremely busy this year and didn’t have much time to think that he was entering adulthood. If he could change one thing, he would have preferred the end of his teenage years to be more memorable.

The end of this year was S-tier busy. (laughs) I didn’t think much about this year signaling the end of my teenage years, but now that it’s all over, I think I would’ve liked to have spent it in a way that was a little more memorable.

In spite of that, he is proud of everything that he has achieved so far. There are many pictures and videos that captured his teenage years. He also appreciates the fact that he is loved by many fans.

Still, I achieved a lot while working, which I’m proud of, so I think I had a good adolescence. I was definitely busy, but my teenage years are forever captured in pictures and videos and are loved by many people.

— Sunoo

Ultimately, he has no regrets because he was able to do everything he wanted to do, especially considering the ongoing pandemic.

I couldn’t do everything that I wanted to do, but I did everything I could do considering the current situation, so I don’t feel bad about it or have any regrets.

— Sunoo

Rather than regret the past or agonize over the future, he is simply enjoying the present.

I’m really happy with the way things are now. I used to like the past or the future, but lately I like the present most of all, so I don’t want to go back to the past. I’m looking even more forward to the future because of how good things in the present are.

In the same interview, Sunoo described what he was like as a student and why his friends thought highly of him. Check it out here:
