Yet, there is one more character who has become a fan favorite. It’s none other than Attorney Woo Young Woo’s best friend Dong Geu Rami, who is played by Joo Hyun Young.

Throughout the series, netizens have been treated to some of the most wholesome interactions between the two characters. For many, they are the epitome of friendship goals and have a supportive, loving, and touching relationship with each other.

Of course, one of the most iconic parts of the show and the duo’s friendship is their greeting. Whenever they meet, they always greet each other in a unique way by saying their names in a rhythm and then doing a hand gesture that turns into a dab.

It’s become so popular that idols are doing the trend on social media, including the likes of TXT, Stray Kids, IVE, and many more.

Well, it seems like the idea wasn’t originally part of the script and came from actress Joo Hyun Young herself.

In an exclusive interview, the actress revealed that the original idea for the greeting was a lot simpler, with the two going “Dong Dong Geu Rami” and then “Woo Young Woo Young Woo.”

Yet, the actress then revealed that the writer of the show wanted something different and that they asked her to try and come up with something. Joo Hyun Young then revealed that it was almost like homework for her.

But the writer wanted something different and asked me to try changing it, so I thought about it a lot. It was almost like homework.

In the end, Joo Hyun Young revealed that she came up with the final idea, but surprisingly she didn’t like it at first. It was only when the writer and co-star Park Eun Bin saw it and shared their love for it that the two actresses developed it into what netizens love.

At first, I didn’t like the finished greeting but when I showed it to the writer and Park Eun Bin, they both really liked. I made the gesture with Park Eun Bin to finish it.

Since the series started, netizens haven’t been able to stop sharing their love for the characters’ friendship and the greeting is just one of the parts that make the relationship so special.

To think that the series might have happened without the iconic moves or a modified version seems unreal. Luckily, Joo Hyun Young created something truly iconic that will go down in history for netizens.
