According to Goo Ho In, Goo Hara’s mother demanded half of her inheritance as soon as Goo Hara’s coffin was carried out of the house.

Right after my sister’s coffin was carried out of the house, my mother’s lawyers came to demand half of Goo Hara’s real estate assets. I can never forgive her for employing lawyers in that situation. After she abandoned us as children, she got lawyers as soon as my sister passed away. I was at a loss for words.

Since Goo Hara was unmarried, in the case of her passing, her inheritance was to be split up equally between her parents.

But Goo Hara’s brother filed a lawsuit against his mother in order to keep her from taking half of Goo Hara’s assets.

I talked to my father about it. He agreed with me that it’s wrong to let her take half when she abandoned us as children, and we decided that we couldn’t accept a 50/50 share.

Regarding the case, lawyer Shin Eun Sook shared, “In order for Goo Hara’s father to be acknowledged for his contribution part, he must prove how much support he provided during her life. In the case that he can’t prove it, both parents will take half of her assets, and her brother, who received her inheritance, will take his father’s share.
