Back in 2014, Jannabi released a song titled, “Did We Even Love? Were We Just a Passing Relationship? Our Not So Short Time Together Keeps Locking My Heart Up”.

And Jung Eunji asked a question that everyone’s been wondering.

Why is the song title so long?

And Jannabi’s answer was quite straight forward.

The reason why the title of that song is so long is because we wanted to gain attention. There are reasons why our other song titles are long, but for this song, we just wanted attention.

Jannabi went on to share a story about how they got scolded for having such a long song title.

Our manager tried to draft a review and said there weren’t enough squares to input the song title. We got scolded for that.

One listener even revealed that they use an abbreviation of the song title to make it a little easier on themselves.

Aside from “Did We Even Love? Were We Just a Passing Relationship? Our Not So Short Time Together Keeps Locking My Heart Up”, Jannabi has songs with long titles such as “The Hot Summer Night Is Gone and All That’s Left Is Unappealing”.

What a unique concept!
