K-POPSTAR 2’s Shin Ji Hoon Switches Agencies To Starline Entertainment For Comeback Preparations

On May 20th, singer Shin Ji Hoon officially transferred to Starline Entertainment as preparations for her comeback continue.

The singer first gained wide exposure through her participation in the second season of SBS’ K-POPSTAR and is known for breaking into the TOP6. She released various tracks including “Crybaby” and drama soundtracks, captivating listeners with her youthful yet emotional tone.

In the image teaser shared with her announcement, she seems to give off a different vibe, no longer embracing the dark colors from some of her previous tracks. Instead, Shin Ji Hoon is shown in a colorful and playful room. Her hair is put up in a messy bun as she rests her head on the table. The pastels such as her yellow top, the blue tablecloth, and the pink room hint that she will be returning with her new album as a singer-songwriter with a retro and upbeat vibe.

Although many were initially concerned by the move, as it appears Cube Entertainment lost another artist, Starline Entertainment is a subsidiary of the larger group.
