Twitter and K-Pop Radar have officially released data on #KpopTwitter. From the top mentioned artists to the top 20 markets in terms of Tweet volume, they’ve made it clear who came out on top in the Korean idol industry.
The list of fastest rising K-Pop artists was derived from the highest growth of Tweets about them globally, from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. Check them out below!
ITZY debuted on February 12, 2019 with the release of their debut single album It’z Different.
LOONA released their extended play [++] on August 20, 2018 with their title track “Hi High”.
On July 23, 2019, CIX released their EP Hello Chapter 1: Hello Stranger. They held their debut showcase Hello Stranger the next day in the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium.
WayV debuted on January 17, 2019 with their digital extended play The Vision.
AB6IX, meanwhile, debuted on May 22, 2019 with their EP B: Complete. They held their debut showcase on the same day.
SuperM is SM Entertainment‘s super group which combines members from EXO, NCT, and SHINee. They made their American debut on October 4, 2019 with “Jopping”.
The winning members from Produce 48 debuted together as IZ*ONE on October 29, 2018 with their title track “La Vie en Rose”.
Big Hit Entertainment‘s TXT debuted on March 4, 2019 with their first album The Dream Chapter: STAR.
Second on the list of fastest-rising K-Pop artists is ATEEZ. They debuted on October 24, 2018 with the extended play Treasure EP 1: All to Zero.

Finally, the fastest growing K-Pop artist with the most Twitter mentions since their debut is none other than Stray Kids! They debuted on March 25, 2018 with “District 9”.
