The Hallyu King may be making his way back on screen this year!

On May 14, an industry representative reported that Park Seo Joon has recently received an offer to play the male lead in the upcoming K-Drama Gyeongseong Creature [working title].

Park Seo Joon’s agency, Awesome ENT, responded by saying that he was indeed offered a role but only received the synopsis and not the script yet. Currently, they are checking his schedule in order to make a final decision.

Gyeongseong Creature is a thriller about human rights and survival. It shows the youth who lived during a time when power, authority, and human rights were taken away from them, and they have to put their lives on the line to get them back.

Park Seo Joon is considering the role of Jang Tae Sang, a wealthy man from Bukchon (a preserved historical village in Seoul). Rather than caring about justice, he cares most about his current everyday issues. A threat appears when he meets a woman who will completely change his life.
