SHINee’s Key and CNBLUE’s Jungshin appointed new MCs of Mnet M! Countdown

Mnet‘s M! Countdown will be undergoing a new change this March, and have revealed the newly appointed MCs for the upcoming revamp. 

According to officials on February 16th, SHINee‘s Key and CNBLUE‘s Jungshin have been appointed as the cable music show’s new MCs.

They continue to say, “The popularity of K-pop goes beyond Asia and has been an impact around the world including Europe and South America. Considering these circumstances, we have chosen popular Korean Hallyu idols as the MCs who are popular abroad and domestically.”

The duo follow previous artists who have hosted for the show including Tony Ahn and Shin So Yul, Lee Hongki, Kim Woo Bin, Ahn Jae Hyun and Jung Jun Young, and Tony Ahn (solo).

Meanwhile, M! Countdown will be celebrating its 20th anniversary with a special program on March 5th, in which the new duo MC team, Key and Jungshin, will make their debut.
