“Squid Game” Actor Anupam Tripathi Is A Total BLACKPINK Fan, And Here’s His Relatable Answer When Picking A Bias

He is a true BLINK!

Since the Netflix series Squid Game started airing, it gained love worldwide for its nostalgic yet dark storylines and relatable characters. Yet, the show and cast have also caught the attention of fans for their love of BLACKPINK, and it seems like Anupam Tripathi, who plays Ali, is the next person to cement their BLINK status.

Anupam Tripathi recently appeared on an episode of I Live Alone, where fans got an insight into his daily routines. From the minute he got up and was ready to take a shower, he cemented his BLINK status.

He turned on some music, and the group’s track “How You Like That” came on. Tripathi even sang along to the classic, “BLACKPINK in your area!” When host Park Na Rae asked if he was a fan of BLACKPINK, Anupam Tripathi replied, “Of course!”

Tripathi was then asked who his bias was, and his response was something that many BLINKs could relate to. He explained, “You can’t say that. BLACKPINK is one.”

After that, he showed the guests how much he loved the group. He busted out some moves from the track and sang along to the song.

If he already wasn’t relatable enough, he then procrastinated taking a shower just so he could dance along to the track in the comfort of his own house. It is definitely something all K-Pop fans have done in the morning!

Yet, he isn’t the first “Squid Game” cast member who has shared some love for BLACKPINK. It is a well-known fact that actress Jung Ho Yeon is friends with BLACKPINK’s Jennie after they met through mutual friends.

If that wasn’t enough, it seems as if the interactions don’t end there. Alongside Jennie’s name appearing in the show’s ending credits and some of the inspiration behind the props being influenced by BLACKPINK, lead actor Lee Jung Jae also revealed that he is a huge fan!
