Super Junior Discuss Their Thoughts And Feelings On Marriage

They’re all worried about not being super juniors anymore.

Super Junior sat down for a real heart-to-heart about all of their marital aspirations!

On the October 13 episode of SBS’s My Ugly Duckling, viewers got a behind-the-scenes look at Super Junior’s comeback preparations! The members were on set to film their MV for title track “I think I”.  They soon sat down together for a lunch break, during which the topic of marriage cropped up!

Leeteuk, on the topic of marriage, said that 9 out of 10 times, people recommend getting married later in life.

Nowadays, people live to be 100 years old, so if you get married in your twenties, you have to spend 80 years living with one person.

Shindong also spoke up on getting married later in life, albeit in a slightly different manner:

Let’s suppose I get married at age 45,  and then immediately raise a child. Then, when the child is 20, I’ll be 65. If we get married late, would we be able to see our grandchildren?

Everyone erupted in laughter at Kyuhyun’s subsequent comment.

I’m going to live until I’m 150 years old…

After they discussed all their perspectives and worries regarding marrying at a later age, Super Junior then decided to play a high-stakes game of rock-paper-scissors, declaring that the winner would have to get married within the next 3 years. If the member fails to get married within 3 years, they will have to pay 1 million won (around $845 USD)  to the rest of the members.

And the Super Junior member to get married in the next 3 years…turned out to be none other than Ryeowook!

Would you like to see the members getting married in the near future?
