TWICE Set A New Record For Girl Group Album Sales On Gaon Chart With “MORE & MORE”

The record-setting queens have done it again!

Although it’s been a little over a month since TWICE made their comeback with their 9th mini-album MORE & MORE, the record-breaking queens have just broken another major record on Gaon chart.

Since the album dropped, TWICE have earned many new records including setting a new record for the number of album sales in the first week on Gaon chart, taking the title for having the fastest girl group song to reach no. 1 on Melon in 2020, and more.

TWICE, however, have officially broken another record with “MORE & MORE”! Based on Gaon chart shipments, “MORE & MORE” sold 563,000 copies as of July 2.

This is the greatest amount of albums sold in total for a female idol group on the chart which means that TWICE have officially broken the girl group record for Gaon chart album sales.

Additionally, as of July 3, TWICE’s total number of Korean albums sold from their debut album up to MORE & MORE have reached an impressive 5.26 million albums!

And with their latest feat, these record-breaking queens have done it once again! Congratulations TWICE!
