Zombies run rampant in Netflix‘s All of Us are Dead, but the most vicious monsters in the series are human beings.

In All of Us are Dead, students fight to survive a zombie outbreak at their high school. In addition to zombie gore, the show contains scenes of school violence, including bullying and sexual assault.

In Episode 1, a group of male bullies harass a male student and a female student. The bullies then strip off the top half of the female student’s uniform. She is shown cowering while covering her breasts.

Viewers, who had anticipated zombie gore, were caught off-guard by the show’s brutal portrayal of school violence. Some wish Netflix had chosen to not include these scenes in the series.

Others viewers have criticized Netflix for failing to provide detailed trigger warnings, especially trigger warnings for sexual assault.

The maturity ratings for the series and for Episode 1 both list language, violence, gore, and smoking. Neither indicates that scenes of sexual assault appear in the series.

This lack of clarity could be especially troubling for K-Drama fans who are not yet accustomed to made-for-Netflix K-Dramas. K-Dramas that air on Korean television networks adhere to much stricter broadcasting rules for violence, nudity, and sexual content.
