Yoo Jae Suk Sends Special Thanks To Sulli And Goo Hara At 2019 SBS Entertainment Awards

“I can’t stop thinking about two guests I had on Running Man…”

On December 28, 2019, the Korean broadcasting channel SBS held its 2019 SBS Entertainment Awards. Comedian-turned-TV-personality Yoo Jae Suk took home the Grand Prize for his outstanding leadership in hosting the popular show Running Man for nine loyal years.

During his acceptance speech, Yoo Jae Suk thanked his fellow Running Man co-stars, the production staff, his family, and the viewers for all the support.

Thank you so much. Running Man is going to turn 10 next year. I’m honored to be receiving this award on behalf of the show… I want to thank my parents, my in-laws, my kids Ji Ho, Na Eun, and my wife Na Kyung Eun for everything. Plus, I want to thank the producers, writers, and production staff members who make Running Man possible. The teammates who have been with me the past nine years, thank you for trying your best and being reliable always. And thank you, fans, who continue to watch and support Running Man.

— Yoo Jae Suk

In addition, Yoo Jae Suk remembered the late Sulli and Goo Hara, who both had appeared on the show as guests.

Now that I’m up here, there is a lot of things I want to say. But most of all, I can’t stop thinking about two guests I had on Running Man — Sulli and Goo Hara — who are no longer with us. I hope the two of them are eternally resting in peace, doing whatever their hearts desire up in heaven. I would like the thank them as well.

— Yoo Jae Suk

Viewers appreciate Yoo Jae Suk’s gesture to commemorate the two stars K-Pop lost so tragically in 2019.
