He now makes around 20 million won per episode!

Yoo Jae Suk recently appeared in KBS‘s Come Back Home where he revealed exactly how much money he used to make back in 1991 when he was just a rookie.

The show revealed a 1991 scene from KBS‘s Rumor Number One where Yoo Jae Suk appeared as a comedian.

And Yoo Jae Suk honestly opened up about just how much money he was making at the time.

At the time, they paid me ₩64,000 KRW (about $56.70 USD) per episode. You had four chances to appear on the show in a month, but it was hard to snag all four. So I got on the show around twice a month, which meant I had to survive on ₩120,000 KRW (about $106 USD) a month.

This insight draws much interest to Yoo Jae Suk’s current earnings.

According to a report from back in 2015, Yoo Jae Suk made around ₩15.0 million KRW (about $13,300 USD) per episode for ground wave shows and around ₩25.0 million KRW (about $22,200 USD) per episode for cable TV.

The informant added that Yoo Jae Suk made up to ₩15.0 million KRW (about $13,300 USD) per Infinite Challenge episode and around 14 million for the rest.
