Since f(x) debuted back in 2009, Amber Liu has been an idol for a very long time. Taking into account all the fans she’s met and their reactions to her, the BuzzFeed team asked what her favorite fan interaction was during their segment of 30 Questions In 3 Minutes.
Amber didn’t need to waste any time coming up with an answer; she already had an idea of what that was. Jumping right into it, she began, “It’s a heart-warming moment when fans are crying.”
Although they often apologize for the show of waterworks, Amber doesn’t have a problem with it at all. She comforts them, “I’m like, ‘No, you don’t have to cry,’ and then they proceed to cry.”
While a crying fan could seemingly be a tricky situation to deal with, that isn’t the case for Amber. Seeing them so emotional warms her heart. Not only does she comfort them with her words, but she goes in for a hug, “letting them cry” their eyes out.
Amber didn’t think it was anything to be ashamed of, “Cause it’s okay to cry, and it’s okay to feel things.”
She ended it in the happiest way for fans, reminding them how much she cares about them: “I appreciate you guys.”
