ATEEZ and MONSTA X Are The Only K-Pop Boy Groups Who Have Conquered The World’s Highest Bungee Jump

That jump is HOW high?!

Bungee jumping is considered to be one of the most exciting adventure sports in the world, so it comes as no surprise that many K-Pop idols have tried it out for themselves. Numerous groups including BTSSHINee, and more have taken the plunge at locations such as Gapyeong Top Land and Cheongpung Land.

However, only ATEEZ and MONSTA X have ever taken on the Skypark Macau Tower. Standing at 233m (764ft), the Skypark Macau Tower by AJ Hackett has the Guinness World Record for the Highest Commercial Bungee Jump.

The first group to jump on tape was MONSTA X back in 2016 during the final episode of their reality series MONSTA X’s RIGHT NOW. Three members ended up doing it, while the rest stood by at the top of the tower for moral support.

Despite the immense pressure and raging winds, they successfully jumped off of the building and got a once-in-a-lifetime video!

Next to give it a go was ATEEZ, right before their debut back in 2018. ATEEZ’s bungee jumping adventure was documented in a collaboration video with popular YouTube channel 딩고 뮤직/Dingo Music

After playing a game to decide who would end up having to doing it, the participating members filled out the required paperwork and prepared themselves to jump!

Even though both groups had their doubts leading up to it, they worked up their courage and jumped in an admirable fashion!

Would you ever want to try bungee jumping off of the Skypark Macau Tower?

A previous version of this article stated that they were the only K-Pop groups to do the jump instead of the only male K-Pop groups.
