IU and Lee Hi are two of the most popular female solo artists, and they both have gorgeous voices! They were both recently spotted wearing the same dress, so it looks like they also share similar tastes in clothing.
Both of these superstars rocked a little black dress designed by YCH, a ready-to-wear womenswear brand based in Seoul. The brand was created by designer Yoon Choon Ho.
IU and Lee Hi wore a black YCH dress called the Cut Out Detailed Dress. This dress has a Queen Anne neckline, long sleeves, and side cutouts at the waist.
The dress costs ₩750,000 KRW (about $639 USD).
IU wore the dress to the 2021 Melon Music Awards. She brought home the awards for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Female Solo. She was also awarded for being in the Top 10 on the Melon charts.
IU wore the Cut Out Detailed Dress on the red carpet.
IU served classy K-Pop princess vibes in the dress. She accessorized with silver rings and long, dangly silver earrings. Her gorgeous accessories added an air of elegance to the dress.
IU’s long waist-length hair accentuated the cutouts at her waist, which highlighted the dress’s sexy detail. She was the epitome of both elegance and sexiness, and she totally slayed this red carpet look. It was the perfect choice of outfit for her very successful night at the award show!
Lee Hi wore the same dress on an episode of Show Me the Money 10, a rap competition TV show. Her AOMG label mate, GRAY, is a judge on the show, and she performed a song called “High” with one of the rappers on his team, Anandelight. GRAY produced the song.
When Lee Hi appeared about halfway through “High,” the crowd went wild!
She came out wearing the same dress that IU wore on the 2021 Melon Music Awards red carpet, but she styled it in her own way.
While IU highlighted the dress’s cutouts, Lee Hi accentuated its Queen Anne neckline. She swept her hair back into a ponytail, which allowed her to show off the dress’s neckline more.
She wore subtle earrings that added an extra hint of glamour to the look without taking attention away from the neckline.
Lee Hi served glamourous, classy vibes in the YCH dress. She looked positively angelic and runway-ready!
Although they both served different vibes and highlighted different features of their little black dresses, both IU and Lee Hi looked incredible and proved they’re just as fashionable as they are talented!
